What is Related Searches Tool?
Use this tool to recursively pull Related Searches for your seed keyword to get hundreds of relevant keyword ideas.How does the tool work?
After you enter your seed keyword, we first pull the 8 Related Searches shown at the bottom of the SERP.Example:
We then iterate through each of those Related Search keywords as seed keywords and get an additional 8 Related Searches for each. We do this 4 levels deep to get hundreds of keyword ideas.
By default the output is ranked based on frequency, i.e. how often we saw a particular keyword repeated during aggregation.
How do I use this tool?
1) By default, since the output is ranked based on frequency, this means the result set can be used to widely understand the various topics and sub-topics under your main keyword.
You can use this to map out content and important related topics that you should be covering on your website.
2) Another useful option is to sort the result set based on SERP Overlap. This shows keywords that have some level of overlap in the top 10 results in the search. You can use this to map out sub-topics and ideas of phrases or sections to include in the article that you are creating for your main keyword.
